Cynthia (“Cindy”) Mallory is a compassionate and dedicated professional with a deep commitment to social justice and community service. She currently serves as an Alternative Sentencing Worker at the Madisonville Trial Office of the Department of Public Advocacy (DPA), where she works tirelessly to support and advocate for clients who are navigating the criminal justice system. Cindy's passion for helping others began early on in her academic career, where she completed two clinical internships at the Madisonville Office. She went on to earn a Human Services Degree in Applied Science, and in May 2018, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's in Social Work from Murray State University. Since joining the DPA in October of 2018, Cindy has been an invaluable member of the team. Her tireless work ethic, exceptional communication skills, and deep understanding of the challenges facing vulnerable populations have made her an asset to the Madisonville Trial Office. Her dedication to her clients has been recognized by the agency, and she was honored with the prestigious Rosa Parks Award for her outstanding service. Beyond her professional achievements, Cindy is deeply committed to building a stronger, more compassionate community. She volunteers with a variety of community agencies in her surrounding area, providing resources and support to those in need. Through her advocacy work and community service, Cindy has made a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals and families.
