Litigating KRS Chapter 202C Cases

This session will provide an overview of involuntary commitment proceedings under KRS Chapter 202C and what we have learned since the law was enacted in 2021 and amended in 2024. We will explore constitutional and evidentiary objections, potential ethical concerns, and pending appeals, as well as give practice tips for handling these cases.
