About me
Monica Woods, the 2020 recipient of the Rosa Parks Award, joined DPA as an investigator in 2015, bringing with her more than a decade of law enforcement experience. She has served at both the local and Federal levels, having been both a Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service and an officer with the Bowling Green Police Department. In addition, she has worked as a law enforcement training instructor at the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training, where she taught investigations and Spanish. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and Western Kentucky University, from which she holds a Master’s Degree in Education.
