Dr. Koleen Rowland Slusher, LCSW, serves as the hospital director at Kentucky Correctional Psychiatric Center (KCPC), which operates under the Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (DBHDID) as Kentucky’s sole forensic psychiatric hospital. Dr. Slusher has expanded forensic healthcare services in Kentucky through the development of jail-based restoration programming and a forensic assertive community treatment (FACT) statewide implementation team. Dr. Slusher previously worked in community-based services including Louisville Metro Department of Corrections and Seven Counties Services as a clinical supervisor, clinician, and medical necessity trainer.
