About me
Christopher (Kit) Thurman: Kit has over ten years of experience in public defense. From 2014 to 2024, he represented indigent clients at the Louisville Metro Public Defenders office, first as a trial attorney until 2018 then as an appellant attorney. Following the closing of the Louisville office, he joined the DPA Appeals Branch in their Louisville office. He earned his undergraduate degree from Loyola University of Chicago and his law degree from the University of Louisville.
