About me
Emily Swintosky is the investigator for the Juvenile Post-Disposition Branch of DPA. She began her career as an intern with the Kentucky Innocence Project while attending the Criminal Justice Graduate Program at Eastern Kentucky University. After graduating in 2010, Emily served as the investigator for the Kentucky Innocence Project and then for the Lexington North Trial Office, where she handled felony cases including Youthful Offenders. During her time at Lexington North, Emily mentored several EKU criminal justice student interns; In 2022, Emily was the recipient of the DPA Rosa Parks Award.
