About me
Beth McMahon is the Director of DPA’s Post-Trial Division. She is a graduate of Transylvania University and the University of Kentucky College of Law. Beth began her career at the Louisville Metro Public Defender's Office in 1994, where she served as a staff attorney in the Juvenile Trial Division from 1994-1999, the Mental Health Docket from 1999-2000, and the Appellate Division from 2000-2013. Beth served as Chief of the Juvenile Trial Division from 2013-2019 and as Deputy Chief Public Defender from 2019-2023. She joined DPA as Director of the Post-Trial Division in October 2023.
