Aaron Riggs is the Supervising Attorney for the Frankfort Post-Conviction Office, Unit B. A life-long Kentuckian, he attended the University of Louisville for both his undergraduate and law degrees, graduating from the Brandeis School of Law in 2016. While in law school, he was an intern with DPA’s LaGrange Trial and Post-Conviction offices and the Kentucky Innocence Project. Following graduation, he moved to Owensboro, where he clerked for U.S. District Judge Joseph McKinley for two years. In 2018, he joined DPA as a staff attorney in the LaGrange Trial Office. He began working in the Post-Conviction Branch in 2021 as a staff attorney in the LaGrange Post-Conviction Office, and he became a supervising attorney in the Frankfort Post-Conviction Office in 2024.
